
More Information about Entering Scheduling Availability
The following committees are included in this "centralized" scheduling: Announcers, Audio Visual, Cleaning, Flower, Greeters, Kirtan, Service Readers, Special Services, Sunday School and Ushers. Other committees do whatever scheduling that they need to do in other ways.
The "Reader: Video Service" role includes both the Sunday morning meditation service at 10 am and the video service at 11 am.
The login page can be found on the volunteer menu located on the menu bar. Your email address is your user ID. If you have not already done so, you will have to create a password.
Once you are logged in to the scheduler click the Availability link on the menu bar at the top of the scheduler homepage. The Availability page will load. Here you may enter your unavailable dates, indicate your availability for specific roles and events, and opt in to special events. Note the information icon at the top right of the page. Click on the icon for explicit help on using this page.
Under Not Available enter the range of dates or individual days you are NOT available. This information will apply All your committees.
Under Regular Events you will find the roles associated with your committees. Enter the maximum number of times you wish to serve in the text box to the right of the role name. Enter '0' if you do not wish to serve in a particular role this cycle. Click the Save button to save your changes.
Under Special Events you will see the special events in which your committees participate. You must OPT IN to indicate availability for an event by clicking a role name associated with that event. You must also enter the maximum number of times you are available to be assigned to a particular specific event role during this cycle. Click the Save button to save your changes.
