Great retreat
Thanks to monks, volunteers, and Guruji for a fantastic weekend.
Thank you so much for a beautiful experience. God bless all the volunteers who help make the weekend possible and so special!🙏🏾
Very well organized as always. Thanks to the organizing team members for their thoughtful communication, reminders and even hand holding on the site.
Very pristine environment and well organized!
It was well-organized, welcoming, and rewarding.
It would be nice to experience longer meditation sessions. From Friday to Sunday, we meditated for close to 6 hours. It would be nice to meditate for 6 hours per day. Also, although we were in retreat from Friday afternoon to Sunday afternoon, it still felt like we had just one day in true retreat, i.e., Sunday. Wouldn't it be nice if we came together on Friday morning so that by afternoon we would have embraced silence, and by the evening supper we would have covered a welcome class as well as one deep, wonderful meditation? This way, retreatants would experience two full good days in silence and meditation. Because I thought Guruji said something along the lines that when two or more join in the name of Christ/Krishna/Divine Mother, their consciousness comes to us. And what a joy it would be to have them with us for two whole days!
One tiny suggestion: it would be nice to have very simple light food. Perhaps the Indian in me is talking, but it would be nice to give a glimpse of the food Sri Yukteshwar ji, or our Guru ji, had in India. Simple Indian food, perhaps one that is simple to cook, but also rooted in Ayurvedic philosophy (good to keep stomach light to allow longer meditation but also delicious, nonetheless).
Splendid retreat! Very welcoming, comfortable, peaceful, and rejuvenating.
This was a lovely retreat. God and Guru present. The love and joy permeated all.
Excellent retreat. Very good experience. I liked the satsang questions a lot. Brothers were spot on with theirs answers.
The retreat was excellent! The monks talks were very helpful. The kirtan and chanting was wonderful. The environment was so peaceful, beautiful and conducive to interiorization. The volunteers were so sweet, helpful and considerate. The retreat staff were very helpful. the attendees were very quiet and sweet. I really love seeing and hearing the monks talk and can we have the nuns again?
It was very encouraging to see so many younger devotees!
A huge thank you to the brothers, all of the volunteers and retreat staff for making this possible for all of us!!
Every year it has been uplifting. No suggestions!
