Zoom gathering for sharing inspiration.
Greetings!
I'm planning to host a Zoom gathering with the purpose of encouraging spiritual study and fostering friendship.
In this gathering we can share something that we have recently studied from Master's writings (or The Holy Science) and how it is meaningful in our life.
The format would be as follows:
30 - 50 minute Zoom (schedule to be determined)
1-3 minutes - welcome, invocation, and grounding exercise (it's important to settle together, the best we can, to be present as we listen and share).
30-50 minutes of sharing - each participant would have a limited time to share, with no interruptions except to clarify a word we could not hear or understand. No cross talk. No feedback. If there is time and interest, we can do another round of sharing.
This simple format of respectfully and lovingly sharing and listening - and the study that goes into the preparation - can offer a beautiful opportunity for us to be together in fellowship.
As the saying goes "where two or more are gathered ..." - I hope someone will join me.
That said, I'm suggesting this format because I have had experience with it when I was Quaker many, many years ago. But I am also happy to visit and chat while taking a walk or having tea ... or helping you weed your garden (I love gardening!).

It was a success!
Five dear souls met last night at 7pm and shared something of Master's (or Sri Yukteswar) that they had been reading and how it was meaningful in their life.
Since this was our first meeting, we also shared what we hoped to get from the gathering. Everyone expressed appreciation to be able to meet with other's, in an easy format, and share spiritual conversation.
I opened the room early, in case anyone wanted to visit first. Some did, and it was delightful.
We will continue to meet the first Tuesday of the month. Please email me if you would like to join the gathering.
